Recently purchased a used 2000 outback LS and noticed little pinholes on the top of the jump seat and pad in the bow. Thought it was probably a girl with clips in their hair leaning against the pad until I put some pressure on it with my hand. I was leaning over someone, with one hand on top of the jumpseat and got stuck by a the ends of a bunch of staples.
Apparently the staples come from the bottom up, and when you put enough pressure to compress the foam, the staples poke right out. Besides being a physical danger, it doesn't look good.
Anyone else have the same problem?
