Hi all,
I know there is lots of chatter about upgrading the factory speakers that come in the boats. I have one that is blown and figure if Im going to replace one I might as well just do them all..figure its just a matter of time.
Any recommendations on replacemensts that I would just be able to drop into the exsisting holes without any cutting etc to add new ones..

Let me know

Thanks
Jay

The Polk DB650/651's are pretty common.. I put 6 in my Outback last summer before selling.. sounded WAY better... They are marine rated as well..

This is what I did. I bought a set of trim rings from JesseC, and bought any 6.5" speakers.

A member on the message board made these speaker rings that adapt the oversize holes of the terrible stock speakers from 2005 and before. Let me know if you are interested in getting a set for yourself.

Hey Smrtz, I had the same issue...I finally blew one of the factory speakers so I replaced them all with Polk DB651's and they not only look awesome...but they sound sweet. I like the adjustable directional tweeter. I got a good deal on them at a local Circuit City.
