Off topic, but would appreciate some help from the more computer savvy members out here. I am looking for a free mpeg4 converter that does not put a watermark on the output, or limit the conversion to 30% of the file size, etc. I am looking to convert avi videos to mpeg4.

Any leads appreciated.

Thanks,

Al

Are you familiar with bit torrent?
.
If so, I may have some information that may be useful.

Thanks Stephen. I will give the free one a try. In the meantime, I found one through Xilisoft. No watermark but it will only convert up to 5 minutes worth of video, which is fine for my needs.

I'd rather be taught to fish, than be given one. But that's just me.

Butta,

Are you saying that I should learn how to write my own program to convert the video files rather than using already developed software to do it?

No, not at all. I was hoping to share some torrent info. But all is good, as long as you got what you need.
.
Bit Torrent is the updated P2P. A great way to transfer large files.
.
I am really just learning how to utilize myself. Applications, movies, music, etc.
.
It is way beyond the old school.
.
Really quite facinating.

Butta,

Wish I had the time and the aptitude for it.

Thanks anyway.
