i really love the belly mount spare, but it drags on the driveway. i need to see about changing this before i get too many unwanted stripes on the drive.

the door closes with just an inch to spare

now the list of things, install the swivel board racks, get hours on the engine so we can ride, learn to surf, get a surf board, maybe a ski rack for when the Z5 is not on

figure out how to read the water temp on PP, still not working, but the wife loved driving with PP.

and the heater is a must,
it has not been a week, how did we live before Moomba?

Looks awesome!

What type of swivel board racks are you going to get, I am also looking to buy them for my Outback that is due in May...

i have the roswell swivels. they use a push button, similar to the Supra.

maybe i can get them on this weekend. they look really good, but i know they will look great when they have found their permanent home rather than in the extra bedroom. (the wife will be happy too)

That is exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the info! Be sure to post pics of yours once you get them mounted.

Nice looking boat. looks like a tight fit in the garage. How many more gray hairs did you grow? :) It took me about 2 hours to finally figure out how to get it in. Now it takes me about 20 min. Again Great looking boat and congrats to the new addition.

nice boat

i feel your pain on the garage situation same here after the first few trips you will get to where you can basically just back it in un-hook and go but it is testing at times when your tired and just want to go inside and vege out

How is it that Denver has open water and I'm still looking at hard water? Man you guys suck!

Just jokoing, love the boat, and its good to see the smiles on the kids faces, means there are some future SC team members out there.

Also form another thread, like the Dodge Mega Cab

Wow. Looks great.. I think that logo makes it.. Silver adds to the blue/white combo..

Don't envy the garage fit!

Beautiful boat, congratulations!

How hard is it to take the Z Cargo rack off and put it back on?

Suggest you build some kind of tower stand so that your tower is not resting on the upholstery when folded. See below regarding a simple one I built.

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw that ...

figure out how to read the water temp on PP, still not working, but the wife loved driving with PP.

Here are the instructions: With PerfectPass on and the boat in neutral (engine does not have to be running), press the "Menu" and the "^" buttons at the same time. It will take you to a different screen that shows "Contrast", "Name List", and "System Info". Contrast should be highlighted. Press the "Menu" button twice so that "System Info" is highlighted. Press the "^" button to see the water temp (as well as other info).

I think you can actually do this while underway as well. You can also do it while the boat is out of the water (it will give you the ambient air temp). Just turn the key on and follow the steps above.

Not intuitive, at all.

deerfield, the buildng siloute in the background is the Denver Tech Center, the lake is Cherry Creek. weekends are busy, but we usually ride early AM and late PM weekdays.

figured out the PP water temp last night. I am certain Zeg would not go in our water, it was 44, but that is what the heater is for. we have managed to get the engine up to more 4 hours in the couple of days. i could not resist the temptation, i went for a ride. my oldest daughter also rode.

the garage is tight, but i can get it in in less than 10 minutes. the Z Cargo pulls off real easy with 2 people (me and 9yr daughter) a little more difficult by myself. it is pretty big.

i lay the tower down only when i back the boat up, then i tie it off to the ceiling of the garage. i have to put flags on so that i don't forget to unhook it before i pull out.

i like the tower support things. i think that most of the ideas here have been to support them off the floor. i am working with a plastic guy to make a rack that will rest on the trailer and hold the tower, that way i can keep a cover on to keep the dust/dirt out when not in use.

my dealer also gave me a nice upgrade on the rear sacs. they replaced the stock 400's with 750's!

yearround,

I do the same thing. I rest it on the rack when backing in, then support it from the ceiling once in. Makes it easier to climb in and out to fiddle with stuff.

Looks like you got the boat loaded. Nice!

My garage fit was very similar, length wise. I had an inch to spare with the swim platform removed. Be very careful when loading the boat that you get it all the way forward on the trailer. I didn't get it winched on quite far enough one time and I almost couldn't shut my door. The closest lake is 1/2 hour away, so I was sweating bullets. Great looking boat! Enjoy :)

i will be putting a boat buddy on soon, that should take care of concern of pulling it on far enough. but i hear the concern.

it is so nice to walk through the garage and smell that new boat smell. i wonder if they have airfresheners with that nice marine adhesive scent?

Beautiful boat! The color scheme and new decal are sharp. Love the fact that your 9 year old is helping out with the boat - as far as I'm concerned that's what it's all about! You are going to love it! Congrats and welcome to the M Club!!

Nice boat!!!! I like the top, what is that a z cargo??? How does that thing work?

You know you are correct
I will not
should not
could not
get in 44 degree water.
Actually heating the pool up now for a birthday party tomorrow as it was only 69F and way to cold to swim in. The heat pump should have it to a nice 85 by tomorrow! 8)

But again nice boat!!!!!!

right now, the racks are mounted too high on the tower. the boots hit the tower when the rack pivots in. i found that out when i did not have any tools around to lower the rack. i think it will need to be right above the lower horizontal bar.
