There has been a several 2005 LSV's in available for months from $28,500 to $29,000. Most would probably go for less than $26,000 to a serious buyer with cash.

So why do you start out at the standard price of $32,000?

Great Question!

First off, you will have to point me to more than the one 05 LSV I have seen on the board for $28,500 and in comparison that boat didn't advertise the same options and has almost double the hours. The other one I saw has a similar price.

Second, I priced my boat boat below low retail value as set by NADA knowing this was a private sale, and in line with the other advertisements I have seen on popular online sites. If you have seen other 2005 LSV out there not in line with this kind of starting price please send me the links and I will review them. I don't have access to the actual sales prices of private party boats so there is not much information out there besides what I have listed above.

Finally, as we all know market determines the price and others have stated that these boats hold their value pretty well. I think my boat is in great condition, low hours, and has been well maintained two things that really drive value.

Please send me what you are seeing so I can review it or if you are interested in buying please make an offer, you have nothing to lose!

Great Response! Boats are no different than cars. Dealers sell boats at high book, private parties sell in between mid book and low book and dealers buy back below low book. None the less, nobody seems to start at mid-book, like they usually do in cars.

There have been a couple mentioned on here that were from Craigslist, going back a few months. If you get some spare time, check-em out via search. There was one 05 LSV at South Austin Marine on consignment listed at $28,500, under 100 hours. The dealer had it for weeks!!!!!

It did not have wakeplate nor tower speakers, but that could be added. The same could be said of the other Texas boat at $28,500.

I will think about making that offer. I have "COOLED MY JETS" about a boat b/c the stock market seems to make or loose my boat money daily, we are still months away from boating weather and if this is the next Great Depression (according to media) I should be able to buy a boat much cheaper in a few months.
