Snow is everywhere. I sent these to my sister-in-law today.

We'll see if I can link them here. The camera dates are off a year. I guess I should fix that.

I am so ready for summer.

It was actually snowing in Atlanta before the Nationwide race yesterday. I bet yer boat knows what snow is.

Butta,

Yeah the dealership was concerned because the driver brought the boat down during the bad weather. It actually had ice all over it!

Butta,

THANKS!!! To be honest we really liked the way the LSV here on the site looked under boats, with the exception of having the brittnany blue on the upper surfaces it is pretty much the same. I just didn't want that dark a color on a surface we will be touching.

UGH!! We were able to get the boat out on the lake the second week of March last year for a little playing. It was a bit chilly but still. So as this is the second week coming to and end I took a trip up valley to see how our lake is coming along? The snow looks to be about 3 ft and still cant see the ice on the lake for all the snow covering the ice...... I think its gonna be a while yet. There is lots of talk about flooding from all the snow melt off this year.

Beautiful pics. What's altitude up there? I have a lake not far from me that sits at 7700 feet. Do you run a different prop at high altitude to help compensate?

Its around 7200' I am running the upgrade wake board prop from Moomba. It will turn 4800rpm. I have to pay pretty close attention when we trip to Powell though.

Why close attention? Will it over-rev at lower altitudes? My boat has not been on the water yet. Most of my boating will be at altitudes between 5500-7500 ft, however, I do a couple of trips to Powell each year. What should I be on the look out for?

Yep just the over rev, your running less pitch cause the engine is producing less HP (less air at altitude) so if you take them to a lower elevation the engine makes more ponys and you didnt change the gearing(prop) for the lower elevation, you can over rev....

Sled491, Thats harsh! But I did notice it was not your moomba you were breaking the ice with! I am guessing you are going to be able to walk out of your house and jump into the boat? I would be braving the ice if I could put a house in a location like that also.
