I just installed a 4 blade OJ legend prop. 13x13. The boat seems to be smoother then the 3 blade 13x13. THe boat is quite noises now. You can really hear the shaft spinning.

Is this normal?

I don't have an answer but a question. I am considering geting a 4 blade prop. Will the 4-blade help me maintain speed when pulling a good slalom skier. I would also like to keep more speed on turns.

I find the 4 blade to have a little more hole shot. Might have lost 1-2mph top end(dont care). The nice thing is my wife is able to maintain a constant speed know , 35 waterski , 18 wakeboard. The turns still drop off but a little throttle takes of that.

I just wish it wasnt so noises......

O.J. props., now have a CNC 4blade prop. I have used a few and am very happy with thier perf. There is no hum, or chatter in loaded turns, there is a smooth pull throughout the rpm range, loade or not. Check out thier website;www.ojprop.com, or call Eric@800-359-9730, he can load you with mo' info., tell him I sent ya. Brian Raymond
