Tower Polish? Cleaner?

Our new 08 LSV Tower has what looks like a white brushed hugh in spots, Almost like the exstrusion left residue. Our 06 was nice and bright. Any thoughts? We just noticed when we pulled it out in the sun.

I have seen that on my tower in the areas where the mandel bent the radius. I use Meguiers metal polish its in a light blue plastic container. I rub it on and I use a towel, rap the towel over the pipe and put tight back and forth. Its like your trying to saw the pipe in half with the towel. This pic is at night after I polished for a while.

Believe it or not, Marvel Mystery oil on a rag will take all the white spots off. Learned it from a old crusty guy who restores old motorcycles. I tried it and it worked like a charm.
