How did you get the ROO? My 04 outback had the roo but my 06LSV does not .. kinda like the roo.
Actually, the previous owner of my outback had a pinstripe shop run a line from the ski handle on the roo to the Moomba Logo.. Looked like a ski rope.. looked good..

BTW.. Love the boat.. Congrats.

I asked my salesman about the roo, my wife loved it but it didn't come on the LS so the great people at AWS got me one and installed it for me..........

BamBam,

Our dealer said he would put the Roo on too but I wasn't sure how or where they would locate it! Now that I see yours I will tell him to install it! How much did they charge you to do that? You know I need you to say it was free so that I can tell my dealer "well they do it out West for free! Yes the teak looks awesome! I am from the era where you were supposed to have a teak deck! I can't sit on no silly fiberglass back there, it wouldn't be normal and it LOOKS Great! Just remember to oil it! Mine is 33 years old and still looks good. I hate to say this but I used to change the engine oil at the end of the season and I would soak it with that while it sat over the winter. I finally started to use the real stuff which smells like linseed oil. Just remember to discard the rags like the bottle says. I have had them spontaneouly ignite on me after sitting overnight! Being a fireman I guess you know this! We need more pictures!

More pics to come on Sunday. We have to drive to Portland Friday and Saturday we will be doing our test ride and bringing her home! As far as I know the Roo stickers were free, they look nice I think. I am so excited! I will post some good pics Sunday when I get her home............

I know you must be very excited! How long a drive do you have to take? Our boat will probably show up on a Monday and I will have to wait all week before driving up there. It will be hard not to call in sick and travel the 5 hours to go and get her! I really appreciate you and Sled for swaying me away from the V. My wife and I feel so comfortable with the choice we made and had it not been for you and Sled mentioning it to me I might have never really sat in the LS and found out what a nice DD it is!
Thanks again!

Our drive is about 3 hours. I cant wait to see it in person, we were supposed to get it last week but weather delayed the delivery. As for swaying you towards the LS I cant take credit for that, I just was in the same situation and new how suprised I was when we ended up looking at the LS. I cannot wait for the weather to warm a bit and get the toys out to play with!!!!

Bam-
Happened to be at AWS this afternoon and checked out your new ride - it's even better looking in person! You (and the family) are going to be stoked! Oh and Gerry and I left a little "welcome to the moomba family" gift inside!

Congrats!

Yeah I know I thought about that too - there's something sacred about that! But we wiped it down good after we took it out!! Just kidding!! I promise I didn't touch it - I just looked! Saturday should be a great day for your first run, it's supposed to be mostly sunny and close to 60!

That's what the boys at AWS were saying. I know in Eugene we're supposed to be in the upper 50s and some sun. Heck, it could rain and it'll still be a great day for you guys!
