has anyone used swivel racks on your tower? if so, where they more functional than the standard rack? what brand were they? would you recommend either way?

also, what is the diameter of the tower? i am not able to easily/quickly locate this.

The diameter of the tower on my 2006 LSV is 2-3/8".

I have no expereience with swivel racks. Fixed racks work just fine for me.

I have fixed racks and two of my buddies have swivel racks. Swivel is way easier and next time around I will definatly go swivel. Not sure of the brands.

yearround - If I had it to do over, I would spend the money for swivel racks. Any kind of rack will help keep the boat organized. Swivel just makes it that much more convenient. - Deerfield

if you are able, let me know the brands. i did not order racks because i thought i would like to find swivels. climbing up the gunwales has often been precarious for myself and the kids.

i have seen a few other posts on wakeworld that they seldom use the swivels

I have the swivel racks on my XLV tower. They are made by Roswell and work great. I need them to be able to pull into my lify with the tower up.
