I think if you go to www.skidim.com they only list one impeller for GM based Indmar engines. That is where I get mine very year.

Johnson 812b is the model number. Skidim.com is great
it comes with seal and lube to install with. 1 beer job on a Direct Drive!
good luck

The Johnson impeller should be available at your dealer, don't forget to replace the gasket (they are not reusable). If your dealer is far away' they can ship it to you. Brian Raymond

I ski with Ski DIM. Great people. A couple of years back we dinged the prop on a Saturday morning. Vince called his wife at SKI DIM and had her set the prop outside the office and loaned me a pull kit. I was back in the water in an hour and paid him later in the week. You cant beat service like that.

You really don't need a puller just bump the engine(don't start it) with the impeller cover off and it will move out enough to grap it with a pliers.

Bumping the ignition doesn't always work that well for me. Sometimes it does, but not always. I didn't know that there was an impeller puller.

QB, is this the one that you have?

yes, that's it. it really makes it easier on a vdrive. the bumping the ignition works real well on a direct drive, but vdrive your hand room is so limited that this helps out.

i've replaced 4 impellers on my last (2) vdrives with the puller.

I've replaced four so far with a lot of frustration and about a 12-pack each. Maybe this tool will get it down to a 6-pack. Thanks for the info.
