Ballast Intake

I have a 2005 Outback LSV without ballast. Where does the factory ballast pull in the water? Am I going to have to drill a hole in the bottom of my boat? :shock: Or is it possible to T-off the engine intake?

I would not T off the engine intake... too risky..
The intake is near the back of the boat kinda opposite the engine intake.

I would think it would be worth a little to pay someone to drill that one and install the intake.. I'm a doit yourselfer but don't like risks like holes in the hull..
