Fuel TV is set to air the 2007 Rockstar WWA Wakeboard World Championships, presented by Supra Monday, Oct. 8 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern & Pacific time.

The 2007 World Championships, held in Reno, NV, will feature the world’s best professional and amateur wakeboarders and wakeskaters. Riders representing several different countries, including the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Brazil and Japan, will all be vying for the world title by performing rail tricks and aerial stunts while maneuvering on the water at a speed of approximately 30 mph.

Tune in to Fuel TV to see if 2006 world champion Andrew Adkison can defend his title against the likes of Canadian rider Rusty Malinoski, Aussie Josh Sanders, and fellow American Phillip Soven.

Dallas Friday looks to retain her title in the Women’s Division, but Aussie Amber Wing and the United Kingdom’s Nicola Butler just might have what it takes to stop the three-time world champion.

2007 U.S. national champion Reed Hansen is set to take on the world’s best wakeskaters, but former world champion Brian Grubb looks to stop Hansen dead in the water by reclaiming the world title.
