had the same problem. I ended up keeping the hu and getting an equalizer that worked out better for me. It has the IPOD plug in and I put it right next to the steering wheel so I could drive and control all the music, fade, IPOD etc. The problem I had is that I could find several head units that had their own remote but none including Kenwood fit in my dash the way the old one did. I think you have to change the remote with each brand. Maybe not. Good luck

ATL,
What does one of those run? I have 06LSV with factory Kenwood, 1 set of Pre Amps out...
I have factory option Kenwood amp running 4 tower speakers. I want to add a sub over the winter and am looking at options...
One was PAC LC-1 vol controls for tower speakers and sub or a clarion EQS746 equalizer to provide a little control over tower and subs...
Thoughts, suggestions?

Or go there... AudioControl is in Mountlake Terrace, WA. You seem close.

The company has been making AMAZING products for years - I have used many... MANY of them and never been anything but blown away at their ability to make EXACTLY what others do not, but what we all need to make things work BETTER. All high quality stuff !
