About 70 hours so far with a couple more weeks to go.
Another great summer; no problems with the boat, however I did blow one of my tower speakers out. I'll replace it over the winter

Exactly 100 hours from June 23rd to September 30th, all this time boat on the water at the dock, flushed everytime I went for a run, no mayor problems...boat will rest for some time due to the sea conditions..time to look after her and keep it perfect for next season.

Summer is over here in Pa for me with the Start of Archery season. What a great summer that I got to enjoy on the Outback.

10-02-2007, 07:55 AM
I thought I had been going out a lot, but after seeing how many hours yall put on your boats, I didn't go our near enough. Bought the boat in June and only put 38 hours on it. Already put it away for the year. Too many other things going on this time of year to get anymore time on the lake.
I did get a lot of people wakeboarding this year that had refused to try before. They all wanted to ride behind my boat. Was a good summer. :D

I am jealous of all the hours people are putting on. I have had my boat for 6 years and it is just reaching 190 hours. I think it is time to move to a warmer climate and live on the lake. I am curious to know if most of the people racking up all the hours are trailerers or keep their boats in the water year round. I keep mine 2 hours away at our cottage in NH so it only gets used on weekends.

10-02-2007, 02:21 PM
I keep my boat at my summer house about 1:30 hours away but being a sales rep I can take office days there and get out a couple of nights a week. I got lucky since my boat sits in the water in my territory. Saving the company money in over night stays!!!

I've put about 40hrs on it this year. It has been so warm that I don't think I'm through. I figure I should be able to go up until November. Mine is 3 years old and has 136 hours on it.

I keep mine in a marina owned and operated by my home owners association. My last boat was keep in dry storage. Just the little extra effort it took to put the boat in the water and take it back out kept the hours down on it. Most hours came 1 hour at a time from 6:30 am skis or after dinner. It is just so convenient to uncover and go.

10-03-2007, 07:58 PM
I wish I could say I have the numbers some of you have.07 Outback 43hrs and done for the season. Most of that 2/3hrs at a time. Was ablast rackin em up though.

Hours on your Moomba:

50 or less - six boats
51 to 100 - six boats
101 to 150 - two boats
151 to 200 - three boats
201 on more - one boat

Total so far: 1,751 hours. Our two friends in Europe (MoombaArmada and OnBoard) racked up 22% of the total. Most hours so far, with 290 :D, is OnBoard!

10-03-2007, 11:50 PM
We put 40 on this summer, but had to go out of country for a funneral and my wife sprained her back a few weeks back when we went out for a mid week ski (really sucked, we think she hit a stump or log under the water), and we have been building our lake house. Hoping for big numbers next summer. Just love our boat and this community

10-04-2007, 12:05 AM
46.9 hrs on the Outback between 2/25 and 8/22
13.8 hrs on the Mobius LSV from 9/1 - present.
60.7 so far.. hoping for 2-3 more weekends though!~

10-04-2007, 01:03 PM
I only put about 45 on my Outback this summer. We had little snowpack, so the lakes were pretty low. That meant twice as many goobers at the lake I frequent. Add to that the winds coming up at 9:30am and blowing out the lake. Overall a pretty frustrating year. I did manage to break 3 kneeboards and learned to w2w on my wakeboard.
A month ago I ended up buying quads and dirtbikes and a toyhauler. When the weather is not perfect we now go camp in the desert and go riding. Life is all about the toys, right??

10-04-2007, 06:33 PM
Bought my 2000 OB w/ 313 hrs in April - now has 432 hrs. It's my first inboard, and I love it. Our HOA has an 18' max length rule on our lake, and they made an exception for me when I bought my house in March. Now they won't let me trade it in on a newer one. I guess I'm going to have to make mine the coolest 2000 I can.

10-04-2007, 07:39 PM
wk.end before last Dave Briscoe came by our house and gave my son & daughter a lesson, I asked him how much he logged a year he said about a 1000 hrs. course Supra gives him a new ride every year... he's a great guy and totally AWESOME on a board.

10-09-2007, 04:23 PM
I have about 380hrs on my '99 Outback. Still runs like a champ.

10-09-2007, 08:42 PM
'07 lsv started wakeboarding after 10 hours breakin. 80 hours now and still going strong. if weather permits should have a month and a half left before water freezes over. looking to finish with over 100 hours. should have more but lost 4 weeks do to injury.

10-09-2007, 09:36 PM
I just rolled 500 hrs on my 04 LS, basically 125 per season.

10-20-2007, 02:18 PM
65 hours this season (May 20th to Oct. 5th) in Central New York. 349 ski runs for me, about 10 for all others. Boat is a '99 Outback LS

10-20-2007, 07:18 PM
I've put 65 on mine so far. I bought the boat towards the end of July this year. I'm not done yet either, should be out 4 days next week.

I've had multiple warranty related issues myself. My heater tube by the driver's feet has melted off, the fuse for my heaters pops now (not sure why, could be my fault for drawing too much power though. I have another post which I'll follow up on once I properly test my situation), and I had a catastrophic problem where the engine would die spontaneously with the fuse by the ignition popping. Then we couldn't get the boat started again. After 30 minutes of messing with wires under the dash, we were able to start it again and it ran for about 5 minutes until it died a second time.

I've since tightened and moved around most wires under the dash and haven't had the problem since. Unfortunately I don't know what short was causing the issue.

Overall this summer's been great, I just hope the short problem I was having is permanently resolved :)

Only 70 Hours on my 2006 Outback V

10-29-2007, 02:27 PM
Well, tomorrow night mine will be heading into the garage! Finished up with 48 hours this year. With lack of rain and unusable ramps, the hours did not add up to very many. Anyway, time to dust off the winch and drag the boat back into the garage and start on the light bar project!!!

10-30-2007, 09:29 AM
I am holding out, if I get out a few more times I will turn 500 hours on my 2004 LSV. We made it out Sunday, 70 degree air 57 degree water.
Once again Drysuits to the rescue. My 10 y/o daughter even went out!

10-31-2007, 09:18 AM
80 hours last year,
This year 30 hours :(
Looking forward to when my little girl will be old enough to enjoy the boat too.

10-31-2007, 09:32 AM
I bought my '99 Outback Memorial Day weekend with 435 hours on it. I added 90 hours this summer. Great boat.
