Hi,

Was wondering what kind of shower you guys have in the boat? And maybe you can send me some pictures how you installed it? I want to install one in my 2007 lsv here in Europe but i have no clue where to start? How did you connect the warm water and what did you use to connect the cold water hose?

Can i connect the warm water to the hose of my factory installed heater?
And can u connect the cold water suply to the intake of my gravity 3 ballast system?

If you send me all the info and pictures you would be a great help!
I was thinking af the aquatik 100s but i have no dealers here in Europe.
So all info, buildingplans, pictures etc welcome.

Thanks

mvd - I don't have a shower on my 07 outback. Went to a moomba/supra jamboree this summer. Possible someone had one, but i didn't see it. Hopefully someone out there can help. Might try the same question on the Supra bulletin board. - deerfield

skier's choice does not offer a shower system due to possible carbon monoxide issues to the rider while on the platform.

if do you do some search on wakeworld.com there are many threads on a install which is pretty straight forward.

also you can purchase the shower kit from skidim.com

Thanks for the info.
A very nice dealer in the US send me an copy of a few pages of the service guide for the Moomba. On pages is explained how to install an aquatik shower.

Planning to buy an Aquatik 100s now because i dont want to design one myself. If its ready i will post some pictures and a walk-thru how the installation worked.

Thanks jon!

I have some extra questions for the technicians on this forum

I see that the raw water intake goes thru the V-drive to the back of the engine. There i goes thru the waterpump. After the waterpump there is an oilcooler and a blue hose which goes to the drive shaft.

Where should i take cold water from:

1: Before the V-drive just after the water strainer
2: Just befor the waterpump in the back of the boat
3: After the waterpump.

The shower has his own pump so i don't know if the pressure is to high if i take the cold water after the waterpump.

On one side of the engine, there is an hot water point that goes to the heater. On the other side (right) there is an free drainhole. It looks like an bould with an square in the middle. Is this an drainhole and can i use this for hot water?

The anchorlights are on my tower, but the wireing for an anchorlight are pressent. Under this chrome plate (on the right side of the boat on the gunnel) i see some wires. Can i connect the pump to these anchorlights and switch the shower on and off this way?

My cold water line is after the raw water pump with a "T" connection and you connection should be after the pump also to minimize connections from the water intake to the water pump. The hot water line is connected on the bottom part of the engine where a drain plug usually is located. I am a fair weather skier so I never use my shower but I have to winterize it each year.

I installed an heatercraft S112 SC shower system this weekend in my Moomba LSV. Figure out how to do it was more dificult then installing it.
It works great, everything is in the shower kit.

If anyone need some pictures how i did it i can make some pictures of how its installed next time i am at my boat.

I don't understand the need of a shower on a boat. I can see a heater, but that really isn't needed here in Texas. What do you guys use the shower for?

we ski and board here when the water is 20 celsius and outside temp is 18 celsius. Before we go in we put warm water in the wetsuit. When finished we can warm up again

I've always thought a shower on a ski boat was a good idea, you know just to rinse things off

Like the setup but the valve system is not so my thing, sry.
I bought the heatercraft for about $ 260 including pump, hose, nozzel and al instalation material. I realy like the valve with switch that comes with the kit.
