Anyone know the deadrise angles in the front and back of a Mobius LSV?
Thanks.

Hopefully they are the same in the front and the back - otherwise the boat is flexing terribly!!!

I'd say only a few % on an unweighted boat - All tow boats are designed to have almost no deadrise. This is one of the reasons they have almost instant pull... less of the torque is going to pushing the boat out of the water, and more into towing the load.

Joe,

I think you have misinterpreted carson's question. By deadrise, he means the angle that the hull of the boat makes from horizontal, measuring from the centerline of the hull out. Boats have more deadrise towards the front than at the back. I think what you are referring to is how much BOWrise there is when you power up from a standstill.

Sorry Carson, I don't know what the deadrise is on an LSV.

Wow. I completly ignored the actual english in the post and read something different in my head that was not even there.

Al got it exactly right - I was thinking BowRise.

I'll get my handy little angle gauge out this weekend if it can wait.

That's what I'm looking for Al. Thanks for clarifying.

Joe, if you could measure that, it would be great. Thanks for your help.
