Welcome.. Where in Arkansas? I am in Mississippi and want to go Ride Lake Chicot sometime but looking for someone who is familar...

Hey 04 Outback,
I live on Lake Chicot and right now is a good time to be on it. The lake is unusually high for this time of year thanks to all the rail a couple of weeks ago. With it being an oxbow lake you can usually find smooth water somewhere. Best chance is on the north end of the lake near the State Park. Weekends are not as busy now. Lake almost dies after the 4th of July. Lake Village is big farming community so when harvest starts not much action on the lake. I have almost had it to myself on some weekends. :D

Thanks SEARK.. Is yours Red? I think I saw your boat pic on the Moomba Map website... I'll holla if I can head that way sometime.. I gotta do a little shaft maintenance soon before I take a long trip..
