Hi,
I have a 06' LSV with Boatmate trailer. It has a "Reliable" brand oil bath wheel bearing lubrication system. Unfortunately I have developed a leak where the cap connects to the hub. I can't tell if this is a screw on cap or a press fit cap. Does anyone have maintanance documetation on this system. I just discovered that the boat came with Trailer Buddy bearing documentation but that is not what is on the trailer. The Reliable website does not have any information on the oil bath system. I have contacted them.

I believe that's a press on. But I've been wrong before.

If I remember correctly....If it is the clear plastic, it is screw on, if it is metal cover it is press fit.

I'll get the manuals out in the am and make sure. It gives some odd truck wrench tool to take them off is they are screw off.

Yes it is the clear plastic style hub cap.

Thanks Everyone,
As it turns out the cap cracked off the hub. Since you can see the threads I am now certain that it is a threaded plastic. As it turns out all the caps show cracking, so I am replacing all of them. The replacements are aluminum. The instructions will come in very handy. Thanks a ton.
