I have a 07 XLV. Every time I hit a wake or if the water is slightly rough I lose all power to anything connected to a toggle switch, wake plate and horn. If I hit another bump they come back. I figured it was the breaker located next to the battery. However, during one of the times the power was out I checked the connections with a voltage meter and it was all good. Therefore the loss of power is occurring somewhere after the breaker. Question is where should I start checking for a lose connection. Any and all suggestions are appreciated since the delership is over an hour away.

I'm not familiar with your particular boat, but I would check the circuit board to which the switches are wired. Could be a loose ground or (+) connection. Also check for any severely pinched or kinked wires within the circuit loop by wiggling them around and seeing if the power cuts out.

Just some thoughts... Good luck.

Agreed, def sounds like a loose connection, and prolly a ground
