Hey guys...sure you've all followed by saga thus far regarding my new ski...then lost ski...then new ski again

Connelly FX w/ venom dual high wraps. Seem to be getting a lot of spray in my face. When I mounted the new bindings I tried to line them up exactly neutral like the Connely stock front/RTP but not sure I'm totally dialed in yet. What does excessive spray in the face indicate? Too far forward or back? Technique? Appreciate any recommendations... :?:

Thanks~M

I'm not 100% positive, but I think you are too far back, or you are leaning too far back. Try a little more bend in your forward leg to get a little more neutral :?:

Try keeping the ski on edge. I bet it happens every time your ski goes flat. This happens even more on newer shaped skis if not kept on one edge or the other.

Thanks for the responses...tried bending my front knee a bit and that seemed to help. Also, AJones you are correct, it is happening when flat and taking a breather.

Though this is a nice way to cool off your body and face after a few.
It happens when the ski is flat, for me when I push down hard on my front foot. It's sort of like the pressure you put down before you bunny hop.

It definantly is to much leaning back. I see it a lot in beginning slalom skiers because we emphasize the preasure on the back foot.
