Hey Joe, in your spare time, you need to supply links to what everyone could possibly want to purchase for their boat. It seems that everytime we are looking for something, you eventually post the perfect item!!

Does anyone have the flag tower mount listed above? If so, how's it work?

I'd like to fly an American flag and I think this would work nicely. So, for those that have this where did you buy the flag/pole?

I've got one like this mounted to the crossbar on the top of the tower. My flag pole is around 18" I think. Works pretty good.

I have it attached to the top of my tower. My lake requires you use one so I just throw the flag up there when I am riding.

I want to fly an American flag. We don't have a law in Texas to fly an orange flag even though we do it.

I think the tower mount will work if I can just find a flag that will fit.

I have one mounted on my tower that I purchased last year and I think I got the pole and flag from West Marine in Nashville.

My lake requires the "rider down" flag to be flown... And since it's annoying to have someone hold the flag, I bought one of the brackets that JoeTechie linked to.

My flag pole is a much smaller diameter than the flag mount, so to keep it from flying out when going wakeboarding speeds, I put a screw into the bottom of the flag pole that has a hook on the end. So when I put the flag into the mount, the hook comes out of the bottom of the mount, and I put a carabiner through it. Works like a charm.

Speaking of flags...does anyone know where you can buy that set up where the skier down flag is mounted to the tower and you just flip it up when you need it and it folds down when not in use? I saw it once somewhere and can't locate it again!

You need to get a stronger boat crew if they are having problems holding up a small flag. On the other side atleast then people would not forget to hold it up.
