I have a 98 Outback, carb, Indmar engine. This is our first boat and have only had it out about four times and it has run pretty good. Durring our last time out we were crusing at an idle and the tach stated to read at 3000, then 4000, then 2000, then 5000 RPM. No change in engine speed. What should I chech, everything seems connected. I have the same wire that was shown in another post that is not connected, but it was like that when it worked before. It's wierd.
