I ride an Obrien Oasis 142 w/ Link bindings. I'm a big boy, but it is pretty responsive for such a big board. My 13yo daughter rides an Obrien Vixen 137 (Dallas Friday model) and my 10yo daughter rides a Blindside Flowers 130. My wife gets on the Jobe 139 "friends and family" board (from Costco) when the water gets warm enough. None of us are good enough for the board to make any difference. :)

If you are trying to decide what board to buy, the only way to do it is to go to a local pro shop that will let you demo the board before you buy it.
Too many people buy their boards because they like the graphics and not because it compliments their riding style.

Just my 2cents
Good luck

Hyperlite State 145 w/ State Bindings. 1st and only board I've ever ridden. I think it's great, but what do I know.

Dave

Been trying to buy a LF Substance 143 off E-Bay. I like the graphics. :D

liquid force synergy with LF transit bindings. it's my first board, bought it online from a dealer in BC. seems good so far. bindings are super tight but I've been told they'll stretch and be perfect in a couple weekends.

I just got a Liquid Force Substance w/ Element Bindings. What a wonderful board. Much lighter and more responsive than my Hyperlite State. My bindings are very tight also, I am hoping they will loosen up.

135 07 Liquid Force Omega w/ Fushion Bindings First board so I guess its good. Only problem is my bindings cracked the other day from landing a little too hard. 18bucks to replace or get 08 fushion bindings, so its all good. I just cant tear it up for a while :(

I have a Hyperlite Motive 144. I used to use the 30/60 bindings, which were decent. They started to tear, so I got some CWB Torq bindings. What an improvement. They are really comfortable and easy to get on/off. I'm thinking of getting a CWB Faction 144 board, but I'm not sure if that's what I want.

Since I first Chimed in, I have added an additional board to the quiver:
Hyperlite Roam 139 with LF Alphas...
IT IS A BLAST. If you have not tried one of these I suggest you do. There are some good deals on Ebay on Roams. They are very slippery and fun. Learning surface 360's is a breeze with these.
