Hi I’m brand new to owning a used 2015 Moomba outback V
We ran over the ski rope and had to cut it off the propeller. And it looks like we cut the rubble gasket/ring on the bottom of the drive shaft?
Can this still be used while we wait for a part to fix it?
The picture attached is not the greatest but I think we had a rubber ring between the propeller and the thicker metal.

That looks normal to me.
The rubber bushings are pressed in to the strut. They don't stick out at all.
Should be good if nothing bent. Run the speed up slowly and check if there is vibration. If nothing more than normal, good to go.

Highly doubt a rope is going to bend anything. Just a flesh wound.
I used to run over at least one rope each summer. The cause of too much going on in the boat and not enough paying attention. Now when we have a rider in the water there are assignments - DJ, roper, flagger, translater for WTF they are signaling or yelling back to the boat, etc. The captain has to throw out a few reminders every once in a while but this usually works.

I can have 10 people on the boat at times and not a damn one watching the rider except for me! Makes me ill!

Oh, and I agree. Doubt the rope hurt that seal. Now fishing line can sometimes get up in there.

Like Holdmybeer said, everything looks good. The black that you see is the shaft bushing and there's no way you can damage those cutting a rope. You should be good to go.
