Top speed 8 mph supra 2022 SL450

Anybody ever had their boat not go past 8.5 MPH. Zerooff on or off no difference. No codes. Starts no problem, idles and can rev it up or down no problem but won't get up to speed. Any ideas?

No codes? Can you verify that the throttle cable is opening it up all the way?

I have had the zero off do strange things like slowly count up on its own, needed to shut boat off and then fully reboot both screens before starting to correct it.

But it sounds like your condition is some sort of limp mode or throttle safety issue.

I first thought the boat might be thinking it's following a profile that is set to a surf setting, but since it's 8.5 mph it sounds more like limp mode.

I would try a hard-reset and see what happens. If that is not working, have the dealer hook up the computer to it.
