Thanks man. I was a little on the fence of the colors at first but it has really grown on me. I think this might be the first boat I add some 35% tint to. I think it would look real slick!

Dang my bank takes until July 3rd to clear their cashiers check so now that prevents me from taking delivery Friday. We don’t boat on the holiday weekends either so next weekend we would normally skip. We might have ti make an exception lol.
Thanks yall for the compliments on the boat. She looks SO good in person. The original dealer pics were taken on a cloudy day and I was not really feeling the color scheme but man, that all changed seeing her in person. Really nice spec they did with the gatorstep to bring in some blue from the exterior.
BTW the new larger rudder seems to for sure make a difference. Had some wind try to mess up my docking but the new larger rudder has a lot of authority and y out can see and feel it around the dock. A lot more responsive than other Supras I’ve demoed my Max. Yea the SV is a hair smaller but it weighs much more so it has to be the rudder I’m feeling. I like it!
We also had some crazy thing happen when going back to the dock. I was draining ballast but forgot to engage Autowake for the auto leveling feature (badass btw) so I turned it on and the boat did a crazy position while the plates were trying to determine how to level the boat. So much that the bow turns hard right while I was counter steering hard left and so the boat kind of had a weird attitude where it was leaned one way but trying to turn another which resulted in a crazy spray from the bow! My daughter was sitting in the bow and got a nice cooling shower lol. My salesman told me it’s likely from the inclinometer needing to be recalibrated so he did that after we docked and got off the boat. I don’t think it was anything going on other than the software was like wtf should I do and made its mind up to do something wild with the plates lol.

Not sure red/black ever went away, but I am surprised the green/black trend from 2015-2017 never came back, it tried in 2021 when SC had the black with green flake ready to go and cancelled it last minute.

Resale Red is a thing and the PWT tour boat is cool, but I still see many new blue/black boats.
Our local dealer had a 2023 SE with the INTENSE GREEN (lime green) with White and Black mixed in. Good looking boat, custom gator, etc, but buyers did not think so as a spec boat. I have a friend with a Green Flake BU with a Light Brown interior, once I rode in it on the water, it was really nice-looking boat.
On the interior colors, that WALNUT BOURBEN (dark brown) needs to go. Not sure I've seen a good exterior/interior combo with it.

Did you get a lot of serious inquiries about your MAX?
Sorry bud, I missed this post. I did get several serious inquiries on my Max within a few days of listing. It almost went to a guy in Mississippi but he couldn’t get his financing squared away at first. Then a couple came in really serious and wanted to see it that weekend. First guy came back to me saying he had his wife ready to go-sign but by then the couple out of Georgia was committed and lined up for a water test demo. I had a few low ballers and of course some Pop yacht and other boat brokers want me to use their business lol.
It was bittersweet seeing the Max ride off with her new owners. She was a good boat after I got her sorted!

funny you mention resale red. when we worked to sell our orange '06 supra all the dealers told us the color was a barrier to selling it. one dealer flat out refused to talk trade and would only do consignment as he said it wouldn't sell. boat was sold after I traded and again 8 or so years later and it took a minute. EVERY dealer told us the best color was red/black for resale.
good to have choices as none of my 4 whips have had red and never would but I'm likely the minority....
interior color out in the southwest, you are crazy for anything other than white even with chilltek-including boat topdecks. 105deg day by noon we couldn't walk on the light grey gator nor carpet without wetting it down or towels.. cleaning the boat at 1 or 2pm in the driveway after a morning out was mandatory socks.

They live in Newnan. I can’t remember the lake they said they have a cabin on but they did say it was a narrow lake. When I took them out on Lake Martin for the demo they had never been there and we blown away at how large it was compared to where they boat. We weren’t even in the “big water” areas yet lol.
Hak I've always liked how the Ultra blue looked in you pics. Now that we have it on our Mojo, I'm surprised how much it changes like a chameleon in different light.
The video are great, the ease of recovery from way back is amazing. Looking at the SV specs I need to add over 1200 lbs of ballast to the Mojo to even be close to your stock configuration.

Yup it does have a level of flip flop to the color. Love the way it looks and changes based off lighting and angles. If I were building I was going to try the spearmint and dark graphite or arctic blue flake and some other color, but I’m digging this spec they had on their lot. The ultra blue looks different than how it did on my Max because of the hull lines and angles and the black just gives a much different vibe.
Not you got life, I’m looking forward to not having to fill anywhere near as much ballast as I did on my Max either. Less wear and tear on the ballast system and bags and less time sitting still waiting for them to fill. She packs a heck of a punch in terms of wave firmness and power. Much more than my Max or honestly most stock modern Supras I’ve demoed in the last few years. They truly hit it out of the park with the SV for “out of the box” performance.

Took delivery today!!! Also nearly had a heat stroke in my storage unit putting all the crap in the boat. Had one of those in Topeka Kansas once and passed out from it so I knew the signs. Thankfully made it back home about 10 lbs lighter from all the sweating and puking fluids lol. Anyways, boat is freaking amazing and we did another round of orientation on the water going over all the stuff. Big change from my 2019 Moomba that’s for sure! Tested out the wakeboard advanced autowake setting and this thing was throwing a MONSTER wake! I don’t wakeboard of course but if I did I would be using the beginner setting lol. Can’t put a cost on awesome memories and can’t take it with ya! I do sense a prop change to the 16x12.50 though and keep the 16x13.9 as a backup once break-in is over.

Thanks man we love the way it looks. My wife does miss the “monster truck” feeling of the Max at first but she is warming up to the sports car feeling of the SV lol. Thing turns SO good compared to the big ole Max.
The 13.9 is really nice but just thinking I wouldn’t mind having a little more torque/headroom if I want to run 11 degree pitch and mid to high 11 mph. I’m going to play around with my lead placement and see what it can do and then decide. I put 100 lbs in each corner of the surf locker, 100 lbs starboard midship and 200 lbs port midship. Right now I have it a little too ass heavy and will try moving 100 lbs from the surf locker to maybe in front of the tower midsection. Always fun trying to dial it in at first. It’s crazy how much different Supra Swell plates are vs Moomba Flow 2.0. Stock regular side surf plate is 85 where the Max was 70.

You didn't buy a mastercraft or Bu, no need to go over 9.5 in a Supra, one of the major advantages in my opinion is low bow rise.
You lose prop alignment above 10 degrees and RPM's jump 7-800 rpm

I was trying to get the same setup that Wake9 ran but I didn’t fiddle with much of the settings to be honest other that fill all and place my lead where I had it. They were running around 10.5 pitch with 500 lbs of lead and several folks onboard. Wave was fantastic honestly and doesn’t need much tweaking. I just figured it might be nice to have that other prop than another 13.9 as a spare just to see how it runs with it. Power is very linear with this boat and it pulls nice, strong, and smooth.

Yea man this thing pops and hits hard in theater! Love the lines in it and the ultra blue of course.
I had a more in-depth post on the FB group after I posted it there this morning. Covers some of the prop side of things.
“This weekend I made an in-depth tour video of our new SV. I went over all the 2024 features which I’m sure by now most on here are aware of, gave some DSD audio examples, showed the surf wave with 1 person in the boat and 500 lbs of lead, gave comparisons and thoughts on the boat vs my Max, ride quality, and much more. It’s a long video at just over 17 minutes, but don’t worry, I’ve added timestamps in the description and on the video timeline so you can skip to whatever you want to hear or see.
I will say this boat with the 400 engine and 16x13.9 prop near sea level can’t hit 11’s with full ballast and 500 lbs of lead with the center plate below 35. I intend to move some of the lead towards the bow to see if that allows me to hit mid to high 11’s surfing. I also intend to buy a 16x12.50 prop and keep the 13.9 as a backup spare. I think the more aggressive pitch will help the boat run 11’s or higher on surf speeds regardless of lead or passenger placement. With the center plate at 35 and my lead placement, I was still able to achieve a pitch of 10 degrees, so maybe running at 11.x isn’t needed unlike what I did with my Max? I need to test this more now that break-in hours are over and I can lean on the motor more. Regardless of the pitch and speed numbers, just look at that wave or my previous videos. It speaks for itself! This boat packs a helluva punch stock or with just one person in the boat with a little lead!
More testing to do with moving lead around first before changing props and I’ll be sure to document more on the surf side of things next video. I know that Wake9 is also supposed to be demoing the SV with the 400 engine soon, so it should be interested to see what they think as well wilth the speeds Inand others are seeing with the 400 in the SV. Maybe 0 surf plate is not needed with this boat? Wave looks great at 0 center plate at 10.9 mph or at 35-45 center plate and 11.4 mph.
In short the SV is an absolute winner and we love it so far! It checks a ton of the boxes I realized we wanted after owning the Max for 5 years. Don’t get me wrong I love the Max and it’s an awesome boat, but they are not the same target and I get that. For what the Max is targeting there is no better boat IMO, especially the 2024’s Moomba’s compared to my 2019. Can’t wait to hit the water again on this amazing machine! Huge thanks to my dealership Skier's Marine for all the help and hospitality over the years. Grown to really enjoy hanging with them when I’m down their way. Great bunch of folks with that company now all across the South.

Here is raw surf speed test run footage. As I’ve mentioned, with my current lead placement I’m unable to get into the 11’s with the center plate at 0. I will need to move some lead from the surf locker and maybe a little from the midship storage to the bow and helm areas. Kind of weight the boat more midship to helm biased vs surf locker to midship bias. I think or hope that lead distribution and 100 ballast will allow me to run the center plate at 0 to whatever and be in the 11’s. I’m able to make a nice wave in the 11’s but I have to get the center plate at 20 or so. From there it’s gravy whatever speed I want I think. More testing to do but I was crispy and done from being on the water all day and didn’t really feel like going through a bunch of plate scenarios and moving lead so I only did 3 runs with minimal changing of things other than center plate to adjust speed. Surf plate settings were stock 85 regular and 95 goofy (I assume those are stock numbers). All in all no matter what this boat can throw a wave and seems pretty adjustable on shape just based on center plate and boat attitude. Going to be a fun summer tinkering and dialing this thing in!

How much engine noise did you get running it and what prop do you run now? I wonder if maybe I should try the 16x13 first and see how that does vs going straight to the 12.50?
BTW I ran the numbers today with full ballast, 500 lbs of lead, just me onboard, and I’m at minimum 10,670 lbs total displacement!! That’s unreal for the size of the boat. By comparison that is 869 lbs heavier than my 2019 Max with larger ballast bags. That doesn’t include gear and other crap. Pretty impressive IMO! Reduced fill and drain times are nice too!

I never ran it actually, bought it, have the 16x15 and 16x14. The 16x14 is more than enough for me. The 16x12.5 is used but been balanced, that's why only $500.
