2008 Moomba LSV EZ Cruise engaging automatically

2008 Moomba LSV.
EZ Crusie engages at 3000 RPMs, even with switch OFF.
any fixes? Can I disconnect the Cruise Control completely?

Are you sure it is EZ Cruise and not limp mode?

2900/3000 rpm is the max rpm allowed when you have low oil pressure, low oil or coolant temp switch issues.
