While it wasn't on my Supra, was able to get my first set in of the season with the Tennessee Vol wake club. Riding downtown in front of the stadium is always cool. Hope everyone is able to get out soon! Only wakeboards!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240331/15a5fa7a950c8761e382461fc0b9819d.jpg

Looks like they got a boat to use year??? If so, that is a good deal for them.

It is 1 of the club board members personal boats, they brought down from Michigan. Said they were working on another boat to use as well.

Finally talked myself into a bit of drilling. Tomorrow is de-winterization day and a bit of engine divider reinforcements

Should really help our crew out, just a bit nerves racking as I have yet to drill into anything on this boat.

Arms are smooth wore out but Hula Care sure does make her shine.

Drug the boat out of the shop yesterday for a wipedown and waxing https://i.ibb.co/M5P0DpD/20240413-165328.jpg (https://ibb.co/NnWB6p6) have been super busy all winter and didnt get any of my small boat projects done. Waxed her up, https://i.ibb.co/XpHypsF/20240413-165335.jpg (https://ibb.co/92Pw2Ty) ran heater hose for a third vent at drivers feet, cut trashed bungees off the racks and ordered fresh new cordage to remake the rack bungees and drug down all the boat stuff to start organizing the "boat side" of the shop.https://i.ibb.co/0cKqTfV/20240413-161818.jpg (https://ibb.co/qdCBKRF) Here is what I found and is My PSA for your preseason. Check your tower nuts! Found several loose ones, one fallen off completely and on about to come off the stud. These are the nuts that hold tower to gunwales.

The weather heated up this weekend so we got out for the first time. Water was 47 but the air was around 68. Felt great to get out!

Assuming Jordanelle....stopped by last weekend.....Chilly! Had to get some work done down at Marine Products and look at the new Supras. They have been testing up there and said it wasnt too bad except their hands. Way to go for it! Ours are still all iced over, but should open up soon.

Nah, years ago I would laugh at the 38-42’ cigarette boats bouncing around before they were dropped in the water.

Yeah, I think the phrase " please don't fall, please don't fall" would be quietly running through my mind all the way to the water!

Replaced my rack bungees today , i didnt want to buy them from Roswell for 50 bucks apiece so I grabbed some bulk bungee cord , hog rings, and heat shrink tubing. Started with a loose measurement from the old bungees and went from there. https://i.ibb.co/r2ShFCZ/20240420-174352.jpg (https://ibb.co/PGnyF75)
Crimped with hog rings and slid some heat shrink over them just like Roswell did on the originals.

I didnt want to find nylon strap to make a handle but I crimped a loop in them to slide over the hook on the rack and called it good. Held my board just fine.

Hog ring pliers from amazon and 25 ft of 1/4 in bungee cord. Ended up with enough to replace them several times over. Think all in was 25 dollars , I had the heat shrink in the shop already, but even of you bought it its a 30 dollar project and was easy peasy.
