I have seen several threads but not a definitive answer.

What Prop do you all recommend for wakeboarding, surfing with roughly 4K ballast. Raptor 400 not at elevation.

I am using an OJ 15.5x15 with same engine and almost 5k ballast with no problems at all. We surf at +/- 11 at 3200-3500 rpm.

OJ945 or 950.
Top speed is 42 (38 under 5k rpm) and easily planes when I'm full and a crew of 6 adults.

ACME 2773 4 Blade 15" x 13" Propeller or for a little more torque ACME 2419 4 Blade 15" x 12" Propeller. I personally would stay away from OJ, I find the ACMEs to be much smoother with less cavitation.

OJ945. Works great. Gets on plain easy. Surfs around 3200rpm fully loaded. Plenty top speed.

Langston- What are your cruising RPMs with the 2773? Unfortunately with small kids I still pull a tube from time to time.

Not sure about the 2773 but the OJ945 is also 15x13 prop. I run 24mph around 3200rpm.
When fully weighted with crew, I run 3100 at 10.8mph.

I know 15x13 between OJ and ACME are not the same, but should give you an idea.

Langston- What are your cruising RPMs with the 2773? Unfortunately with small kids I still pull a tube from time to time.

I have a 17SA with a 2773. We have upgraded Enzo ballast bags and 250lbs if lead. Surfing full ballast and 2-4 people pits is at just shy of 4K rpms.

We are also at sea level.

I am not 100% sure as I dont pay that close attention. I do know that I top out at about 38 mph at around 5200 rpm. We routinely cruse the lake at around 25-27 mph and its well below 4000. I have small kids too and I still pull them on a tube and I still slalom at 28 mph.
