What will be the primary activities you intend to do with the boat? Skiing/surfing/wakeboarding/tubing/cruising?

Nothing to be aware of on this model.

As for buying a used boat, there are a lot of things to check on used boats before buying. Are you going to hire someone to review it?

Reason I'm asking, if you are new to wake boats, that might be a better option for you.

If you're wanting to use it as a surf boat, you either need to A) get a lot of people on it or, B) at least do the wakemakers upgrade for the rear bags, possibly upgrade the propeller. We had 2005 LSV which is the same hull. These older Moomba's need a bit of work to turn them into decent surf boats if you're buying them stock and don't have more than 3-5 large adults in them. Wakeboarding should be ok???, (I don't know how much weight it would need for wakeboarding), skiing/tubing/cruising obvisouly doesn't need weight.

similar hull to our old launch20 only a foot longer.
we ran 1100 in the corner listed, 400 in the center locker, 400 on the rear seat, 400 in the bow and need 4 adults to get a decent wave and that would bury the rubrail.
dealership that took it on trade swapped back to 400's in the rear lockers and used it for a summer as their go-to wakeboard boat. those old skiers choice hulls are a BEAST of a wakeboard machine. shop guys used it over their brand new z3 demo boat.

if I were in the market for a mid-00's boat and wanted to spend a greater time surfing, i'd try to source a tige 22/24v or a centurion.
