Permanent Mount for iPod

I am adding an iPod extension cable to my stock Kenwood HU in my '07 LSV. I would like to mount it in the helm station but I don't want a stick-on or suction cup or a cup holder mount. Has anyone put a permanent mount for their iPod/MP3 player in their Moomba?

Im not sure where your at but car toys have a harmon kardon I pod drive system for $100 ive seen them in the master crafts and they look pretty good you dont even have to have your ipod out it just plugs into a hidden area then you have a little lcd screen to control it from

Yep like natedog said. I got the one that is water proof from Ram Mount. Its da bomb!!!
