New Supra boat cover

New cover seems to be slightly different material. Why the switch if it is?

Commercial sewing/ Outer Armour was the maker of the Supra covers, and the material is Surlast. Perhaps Supra changed cover suppliers?

The Surlast materials come in different weights, it's possible they changed weights?
