Has anyone relocated their batteries to under observers seat, ditched the trash can and put a cooler in the floor like the supras have?

You can slide batteries over move teash can and fit a soft cooler in there.

But a hard cooler like a Supra is better. I can’t believe that no one has moved the batteries and done a hard cooler like Supra yet.

It's been about a year or so ago, but I do recall a post with some pictures of someone doing that.

Seems like username "Dank" had done something like this.

I know the need for a cooler, but I would not ditch the trash can. Just relocate it somewhere also. I bring a trash bucket everytime out now and it keeps the boat clean while on the water.

Just go ahead and invest in an aluminum can crusher! LOL!

I recall reading about someone posting about their dealer performing this. The only thing I recall was the new battery cables needed b/c the original ones did not reach. Sounds like a good opportunity to replace with a little larger gauge.

I would love to add a strut to the trash area so that the top doesnt slam down on someone's foot. It has happened twice to my kids. I know supra has a strut so I assume it can be done.

This is covered in the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61zloWEOCEw

Skip to 4:30 for the cooler / trash can portion.
