As the title says, 100 more days...
The boating season in Ohio starts in May. Some years it's early and weather is warm enough for May 1st (which is my count down) some years it is cold until June (2022 season). Either way, with January crawling this post just gives me a little positive energy.
Hope it does the same for others.
Also, not sure who else got water goodies for the holidays but I want to see if my new rope and fins help.

What board and fins are you going to use?

My boys got a couple of new boards for Christmas. A Ronix Modello Skimmer, and a Doomswell Hydro combo with a rope and carry case/cover. Got my daughter a H/L Scandal comp vest, but had to return it for being too small. Should have gotten her a medium. And they are out of that size now. Figures.

I bought a Primo on clearance but only had the short skim fin. The board is 54" and I'm heavier than 180lbs so hoping changing to 2 fin honeycomb 4.0 will help with push.
I ride goofy so I'll take any help I can get.

Got this gear for my wife. She suffered a workplace injury and hasn’t been able to ride since 2016. She rode for the first time since then late this season. Lots of happy tears on the lake that day. She was hoping to work hard this coming season and qualify for the provincial championship but, unfortunately, has to undergo another surgery next month. The gear will be waiting for her speedy recovery.

First, your wife has got this. Good luck on the surgery and a speedy recovery. She'll be riding again in no time.
Second, I love the contrast of equipment against your snowy tundra in the background. We are expecting snow tonight so hopefully it sticks and we can get the other toys out.

Cool background on that pic. Makes me want to jump on a Ski-Doo.
Surgery - good luck on the recovery for her. Sporting injury on knees or shoulders?

Thank you to all for your well wishes! The background in the pic is actually the lake, my avatar is the view in the summer. My wife was injured at work. She broke her thumb, wrist and tore up her shoulder. All her injuries required surgery to repair. She has had three surgeries so far, hopefully next month’s is her last. The first surgeon botched the hand surgery and created all kinds of problems. Her new surgeon is great so she is in good hands now. This surgeon looks after the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks hockey teams as well as the Canadian Olympic athletes last year in Beijing so her care is world class.

I still need to get a few more snowboard trips into the schedule before my mind switches gears.
