not a moomba but boat porn is boat porn......
signed up for a demo days from tommys marine here in vegas. I think I was the only demo today. they are primarily based out of colorado but are trying to get a foothold here with centurion/supreme. same company I demo'ed a couple centurions in 2020.
spent today on a supreme s220. new model last year. all I am going to say is value boats have come a LONG way.. I can see the differences in materials and build from my cousin's supra SL and it's not a fair comparison but this boat was on par or better than my 2020 tige r23. interior fit/finish is quite good. seats were soft but supportive and had a lot of piping/stitching to make it look upscale. dash was decent and screen was easy to use.
the wave tho... it was crazy for a factory stock boat with only 4 of us. 4400lbs of ballast in 6 tanks. no loss in usable storage under main seats. did lose the bow underseats and rear compartments were full but to be expected in a value boat. quiet boat. pcm and it was quieter than the raptor in my tige. priced out with decent options but not loaded at 130k but 112k sale price.
they have moved production from Cali to Georgia to allow Cali to focus on Centurion and I would say they have elevated their quality with the move. I only saw one panel I could nitpick going over the boat with a comb. several unique things I have not seen such as cnc'ed plates on the sides for ballast vent/drains. also liked how the rear bench seat was removable where the cooler was. nice standard feature I have not seen before. I liked it. sewlong bimini was huge. biggest I have seen.
overall a solid boat that threw a very nice wave for factory. 500lbs in lead or 3 more people would have been the ticket I think.....
