I have some family and friends coming for the weekend and have a rider that’s 260 lbs. Don’t want to spend a ton but want something he can ride on and need to buy it local (not enough time to get something here by Friday morning)

not sure on that one but if you can find a hyperlite broadcast they handle a lot of weight and are a good boat board to have around.

Also a Hyperlite Landlock will handle too.

Thanks for the feedback! Doesn’t look like there’s a landlock available locally but there is a broadcast. Broadcast is not much more expensive than the bonzai so will probably go with the broadcast unless someone chimes in on the bonzai.

I have the 5'4" broadcast and i have 2 brothers over 200lbs. They can get up but can't drop the rope on it behind my 21 mojo. Some might be skill but it's definitely not pushing them hard.

interesting. haven't ridden a broadcast in years but at 220lbs and my sisters ex pushing 250-260 we were both able to freeride that board all day long behind several boats of varying degrees of wave heights.

I like the broadcast for its size and stability but i just figured they were too big. Both around 250lbs. Wife and i ride it fine and soon rides the gromcast.

What size broadcast do you have the 4’8” or 5’4”?

we had the 5.4 as well. GREAT boat board although toward the end we had better luck with a danielo pro from p5 with noobs.

Thanks again for all the feedback. Going with the 5’4 and will report back.
