I have noticed that my bass does not seem to be as loud as it used to be. I have a 2021 Makai with the option "J" Wetsounds premium upgrade. 10" rev10 towers, bow speakers, and 10" ported sub enclosure. Is there an overload or protection that could have tripped? I can tell the sub speaker is working just by putting my hand on it. It just doesn't seem to have to punch it had anymore. Any suggestions on where to look first?

Disconnect the sub wires and measure the resistance of the sub. Should be 2 or 4ohms.
If not it could have blown a voice coil and shorting out the amp. Same with any other speakers you have hooked up.

Or the vibration moved your gain knob and it needs adjusted.
Or the rca are silent unplugged and you aren't getting the full 3v out of the pre-outs.

Its a 4 ohm Single Voice Coil.

Check the zone level. Make sure the RCA at the woofer chnl (5 &6 are bridged) are both fully seated. One loose and there will be reduced output. Make sure the RCA are all fully seated at the media unit.

I will check both tomorrow and see what I find. The reduced output makes since.
