A little disappointed, took the boat in for 20hr service and told them about my actuator being bad, working sometimes. Sticking others....

Well they are blaming it on old software.... even though I took teo apart and verified the issue being a misaligned gear set/shafts.

Said they only warranty the actuator if they fill with water.

If your dealer denies warranty on that actuator……they suck.

How can it be old software on a 22 year model? Or rather, why is old software on it? That shaft looks bent in the photo.

Lots of people have "old" software, myself included, and no problems with actuators. Got my boat in March of 21.

Would be a shame if the contacts inside that actuator didnt work anymore right? Since they dont disassemble to check

I think I say this statement 5-10 times a day anymore. Between my career path and dealing with others it is the standard response now.

Sent from my SM-G781V using TapatalkYeah for real... but honestly I blame the whole service writer middle man bullshit you get at any automotive dealer shop. Things don't get communicated well, even when I write it down. Good news is they can change one out in 30 minutes [emoji38] all good now, hopefully no leaks [emoji1696]

Oh and for anyone wondering dealer code for 7" screen is 9191
