I have recently purchased a 2006 outback and I am looking to replace the rubber exhaust flappers. I measured the inside diameter of the flapper at 3 1/4 inches. There doesn’t seem to be a flapper of that diameter on the market. I have read some forum discussion about modifying a 4 inch flapper. The brand name of the flappers on the boat now is Nautical Rubber, can’t seem to find that company on the internet. Any insight on flappers would be appreciated. Thank you and greetings from British Columbia, Canada.
I’ve got a set off my 2005 Outback. See pics. U r welcome to them. Dm me and we can work out address to get them to u. I’m running a surf pipe so no use for them. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220614/c29c6958085b503255f91846191357ca.jpg

I appreciate the offer but those appear to mount differently than mine ? Mine slip over the exhaust tips and are held on with hose clamps. Yours appear to be held on with screws ? Am I correct in assuming this is a difficult part to find in the size I need ? Thanks, Bill.

Skidim has the standard 3" flapper.

I thought the replacements were aftermarket 4" and you cut the pipe to make them fit.
No way to get 3.5" unless you paid the dealer premium and they no longer carry that size.

Inside diameter of my flapper (that sounds weird) is 3 1/4 inches.
Yes mine screw in so must be a different design.

Mine mount inside the exhaust tip if I remember correctly. I’ve had them off for a while.
