Current deal on either 500 or 1k.... I know I want at least 500, but I'm not sure if 1k will be worth doing as much with towing and packing.

If you watch Ragboy's videos on the Mojo I believe he ran 1K. How far/often do you tow??

If you watch Ragboy's videos on the Mojo I believe he ran 1K. How far/often do you tow??65% of the time , 15 miles thru slow city traffic. 20% is about 40 miles, slight elevation, and then 1 or 2 trips a year up in the mountains a couple hours away

good to know, sound like 1k is the answer. i ran my triangle/box sumo bag (650lb) in the rear of boat where the slide seat is and it helped a ton... so im sure putting lead farther back will help more. the WM bags seem nice but not much of an upgrade based on published numbers. I figure for long drives i can pull some lead and throw in the SUV to balance things and keep it off the trailer.

wake life has a deal right now on 20 bags (1k LB) for almost 50/bag... best deal my dealer said was 65/bag (plus tax)

Watch Ragboy's video....that 1k is all in the nose and tje family sits in the middle and rear of the boat. Not sure you need all the weight in the rear. 9-9.5 pitch is what he was going for.

I put 500 in the bow. Anymore and no one can sit there. I think it has a 700lb max bow weight load. All the rest is in the middle and i can't get under 10.5 pitch. No way i could add rear weight. Unless my calibration is way off.

thanks for the info... im used to my old boat where i slammed the shit out of the rear to make a big wave. looks like there is room on top of the fuel tank, add any there? or did you just keep to sides?

I already posted this on another Mojo Ballast post but will post here incase anyone is reading for setup information. Ragboy of Wake9.com gave a detailed post of his Mojo setup here: https://wake9.com/2021/07/01/2021-moomba-mojo-settings/

He details his settings as well as his lead placement.
