Checking the interest on putting my boat up for sale. 297 hours total, 2nd owner, new vinyl swim pads and interior. 750 upgraded fatsacs in the rear, original middle ballast bag. New boat cover, new swim deck pad, minor gel coat blemishes. NADA says $30k, not a terrible starting point. Let me know what the group thinks.

Subscribed. Just curious.

Seems like a realistic ballpark. I was shocked at what some of the used junk at the boat show was going for.

Bergmiester,

I had hoped to trade for a 2014 Supra SA 350, after further review not worth it. $19k was my trade-in value from the dealer, seemed low. The Supra needs a lot of vinyl work, new Bimini, new cover, not worth the $68k asking price.

I wanted to check the temperature and see if anyone was looking or knew anyone looking. This isn’t a terrible boat.

You'll do way better selling outright vs trading. Catch is if someone has to finance they'll need to bring money to the table as most banks/CU's are going to try to lowball market value on an older boat.

I should probably run NADA and bump up my insurance. Their suggested agreed upon value was $19k. That was a couple years ago.

EDIT--
Yeah - I'll be bumping it. NADA says with my options $36k list, $25k low, $29k average. That doesn't take into account the custom vinyl, Exile stereo, other updates, etc.

The situation is going to be a little different because I bought mine last fall with only about a month of season left, but I paid mid 20's for an 05 LSV last year...To be fair though, I practically ran to the bank because it was $5-$6k cheaper than any V Drive I had seen in the last couple years. I also live in the upper Midwest so depending on where you're from, I know prices differ as well.

Very true. I’m in Colorado, and I’ve seen boats vary in price from here to AZ to NM. And when I say vary, the same 14 Supra here for $68k is $43k in AZ and $53k in NM.

Now that price swing would call for a road trip!

Agreed!!! That would be a weekend road trip, or a quick down and back!
