Strut bearing

Hi

I had problems with my starting motor and the boat hit a rock at a very low speed but bend a little the propeller, and when I was taking off the propeller I realiced that the brass bearing that goes insede the strut was out, someone had that kind of problem, should I just re install it? I check the opresor and it was loose so maybe it just go out, but I will like to know more about this, I dont have a dealer or any one with inboar experience near so any advise will be geat.
