I have read a few posts on the forum, but I am getting some very wide estimates on a Supra warranty transfer. One dealer quoted $2200 and another quoted $1500. First dealer said boat and engine were the same price, both 1100, the other dealer said the engine transfer was much higher than the boat. I guess I will call one more just to see, but it is a little disappointing to see a $700 difference between 2 skiers choice dealers just to transfer a warranty.
Of course the $2200 estimate is the closest dealer. Has anyone had success with asking one dealer to match the other?

When we transferred our last Supra in late 2020, hull transfer was $250, and Indmar transfer was between $700-900 after shopping around. Engine warranty can be done by any Indmar service center, so shop prices. It involves a compression test, diagnostics download, and paper submission.

Hull warranty needs to be done through SC dealer. We did the hull with the SC dealer in in the city we bought the boat, then did the Indmar transfer when we winterized through another SC dealer. My local Indmar service which is non-SC boats couldn’t get me in for 3 mo., so we had to drive 130 miles to get to an SC service center for winterization, warranty work, and transfer.

I believe mine was 1200.
It can't hurt to ask them to match it, these are fixed prices, the only variable is the cost of labor at the dealer to inspect and submit reports.
1-2 hours of work to check everything including compression.
