Black Friday Deals 2021

I usually start a thread on where to get the deals, so what did everyone get this year?

Sad to say this was the first year in a long time I did not buy anything boat related over the Black Friday Weekend deals.

Other than lead, I didn't see much worth buying honestly.
That's boat related and non-boat related.

I think everyone's margins are a lot slimmer this year (I know ours are) and the sales have been lackluster because of that.

Lead was the only deal i saw worth buying and i posted it. I was looking for a board to but 10% just isn't motivating me.

seeing this everywhere. supply chain and staffing issues have inventory levels down everywhere so no need to run sales to clear out old inventory. no one has any old inventory anymore. at some point the world is going to break and will be interesting to see what happens when it does. saw that household debt has been climbing during 2021 and can't say that's the best road to be going down right now.

no kids anywhere in my immediate family that have done xmas in the past so we all made a decision this year to skip gifts and just get together and eat/drink.
that's what the holidays should really be about.

So what has happened to black friday surfboard deals. In 2015 I buought 2 Idolsurf surfboards for 50% off and I think I remember some similar deals for other brands back then. Haven't seen anything like that in the past 3 or 4 years.

So after I post I did some serches and found some Liquid force boards on sale for 47% off but all sold out. Didn't see anything else in this discount rangge,

I agree. Chaos had a deal going on for custom boards, percentage off, but reading on other sites it took a LONG time for 2020 orders to get filled in 2021.

Demand is too high and not too many left over 2021 boards are out there. Most local surf shops were sold out of the sought after models until the 2022s arrived. Like specific P5 names. I know companies like Exile ran online sales earlier and they were sold out of some models like the Subsonic. 33% off.

I sure the dealers made sure they had bigger orders for 2022s.

I do not see many used boards floating around . . . . higher end stuff. I'm always looking around.

Even on new stuff online, not many deals with bigger discounts as you mention.

I got my kids a wake surf board and my self a liquid force skim style board from wakemakers. I didnt think it was that great of a deal but was in my price range so I grabbed it.
