Mojo Build

Finalized my build the other day...made a few tweaks since the "Twilight" gelcoat is a no-go.

Eclipse Black metallic flake over black with Intense Green hull on the outside.

Black deck, dark graphite chill-tec w/green piping. Black GatorStep with Gator Green etch.

...now the long wait until the spring [emoji28]

Got to test out the chill-tec on a buddy's SL this summer and it's awesome in the TX sun....I'll be sure to report in on the black GatorStep.

That would be my Moomba pick. Spent some time on them last fall and over the summer surfing. I'm a fan. Overall it's a great size - not too small - not too big.

how did you get the black gator step? when I look on line it only gives me 2 option colors? is there different options once you do it through dealer? we will be starting our mojo build in the next month and would love a combo like this but lighter. I am a green boat fanatic too.

Thanks, I will have to check with my dealer. Our color schemes are pretty close. we are Going Eclipse black with green, my last boat was all green and i loved it. the Green just pops to me.

Seen some cool designs on social media on some new Supras.

Nothing wrong with factory ones, but the custom route has a lot more options. It will cost more, pay for what you get.

Are you not concerned about the temperature the black gator step will get to in the sun? I have the grey in my boat and can get really hot in the direct sun and I live way north (4’ of ice on the lake right now). I would think that black could actually get hot enough to scald your feet under intense sun. Is it available with some sort of cool-tech technology?

My buddies SE has black gator step and black and blue seats and chill tech or not its freakin hot. Only way I would be doing black is if I lived in Alaska and needed radiant heat after getting out of 40 degree water.

Chill tech does work on black and dark graphite interiors FTR, it gets warm but no where near as hot as non chill tech tan in my last Supra.

That said, I have the grey/blue scraped gatorstep and it’s cooler by far than the same color seadek.

I agree.

I pulled the grey SeaDek from my 2018 and replaced with black/red Gator.

The black is cooler and feels softer. No issues from TN.

My non-chill tech, light graphite interior is made from material that catches solar flares and stores them in the vinyl. Freakin scorched Earth!! I’m glad I have some white to help have a cool surface. I could not imagine all light graphite without chill tech or even dark graphite!

The light gray gatorstep gets warm but not unbearable. I do think it feels cooler than the light gray seadek I had in my previous boat.

I have the grey seats in my ‘19 makai before chill tech was a thing. Like Hak says, freaking scorching, especially in the front that gets no Bimini shade. I take 2 towels for the sole purpose of getting them dripping wet in the lake and laying them over the seats so people can sit up there. Absolutely impossible otherwise

This is color of my 21 Makai. It gets hot, but nothing scalding. We are in South Georgia too. 30144
