Hi guys!
My name is Mike and I am looking forward to be a Moomba owner as well and located in Germany.
Today I did a test drive on a 2012 Mobius LSV with the 325hp engine with just 300 Hours. Considering the age, everything is in pretty good condition.
The only thing is a ticking noise I noticed on the starboard side of the engine.
Made a short video: https://youtube.com/shorts/dF7hs9czqHg?feature=share

Also I noticed a short vibration during some Accellerations

Is this normal?
I would be very very thankful to get some help from the experts here!

Cheers,
Mike

Sounds like standard valve/lifter ticking. Might need to be adjusted as most people never adjust valves.

The vibration could be about anything. Nicked prop, rudder play to 1 side while turned, prop shaft bearing and/or seal, etc. list goes on and on.

On the back side of the engine, between the rear seat and and rear of motor, there appears to be water around the bottom. Any idea where this is coming from? I would assume the prop shaft dip seal and if that is failing it could cause a little vibration and water in the bilge.

Many thanks!
Water in the bilge was identified caused by a lose strainer bowl.

Starboard manifold has a small leakage in the manifold body and will be fixed by the Dealer

Has the bilge to be completely dry or world you call a few drops normal?

None of my boats have ever been "completely" dry.

I would see if the dealer will check and adjust the valve lash.

Maintenance records available and/or being provided? Oil change (all 3)/Spark plugs/Cap and rotor/Wires/Impellers (cooling system and ballast) . Just standard maintenance things that may or may not need to be done. Would be nice to know so you aren't throwing money at it.

Also make sure everything else works, ballast, stereo, bilge pump, etc.

Boat was originally sold by the same dealer and he also did every single service since 2012.
Full Service and winterization will also be done before handover

All other components you mentioned work as they supposed to

That noise is the fuel injectors firing..In combination with normal valve train noise.

Awesome! Congrats on the new boat. Let's see some photos before they throw the cover on it.
