I have a new to me 2016 Supra SA450 and I can’t figure out how to get backup camera working? It’s a distorted unusable picture. I bought a new replacement oem camera and same result.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210829/b8af19e5703271fb2b2987ae9191b5e4.jpg

I don't have one, so can't speak from experience. But, since you say you are having same problem with a replacement, check the connector where you are plugging in for any sort of corrosion. Even if it looks good, maybe clean it anyway. Any other connectors in that cable too.

I just noticed if I pull apart RCA plug just enough the picture shows up, still grainy but it works. Is this some type of grounding issue. Any idea what I need to be able to completely plug in and get clear picture?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210829/3bc8f7933d264dbb0acbe26fa5602e8e.jpg

Use some isopropyl alcohol to clean the rca connectors. My bet is that 720p is the best quality you’re going to get via rca/single composite input.

Carefully pinch the 4 tabs a little tighter on the yellow end. Be careful not to break them off, but it will give a better ground.
If this doesn't work, run a new yellow cable from camera to display. Use a quality shielded one and tape the end to keep corrosion out.
