So I just bought my first wake boat a couple weeks ago , and after lots of research of what I wanted I went with a 2020 craz with flow 3. I知 planning on adding 1190 rear bags and at least 500 pounds of lead because with my normal small ish crew the wave is clean, but lacks push , to be expected with all stock ballast

My question:

Will I need a surf prop with the extra ballast and lead I知 gonna add (has the general use 15.5x16.5)

Any tips and pointers on adding lead/ more ballast is appreciated!

You say you will have a smallish crew. What do you think your normal weight will be? You may be fine with that prop. Give it a shot and see what happens. You will know quickly if somethings not right.

Roughly 600 -700lbs in people on a normal day , I can稚 see myself having more than 10 people in the boat ever but you never know. And I値l definitely do that, I was gonna order a spare prop so mainly was wondering if I should just order the surf prop or do the same one as it already has on it

If you are ordering another prop anyway, then yes I would get something different. The 15.5x15 is a good pulling prop that's not too low.

That 15.5 x 16.5 prop will work just fine. You are not adding that much weight in total. One of my neighbors is using it and he usually has the boat full.
If you are getting a spare, than by all means I would get a smaller one to give you flexibility with more ballast in the future.
Have fun with your new boat. She's a looker.

Nice boat! Great to see another Sota moomba. What lake are you on?
