Heat pump saga continues [emoji23]

Alright. So I was able to bypass the heater pump with a simple splice so we’re good to go there.

After closely inspecting all fuses I didn’t see anything blown that would cause the pump to not receive power (anyone know the exact location?)

I did see the two terminals below unhooked and I’m 99% sure they belong to the pump.

First picture is from doghouse. Second is from engine bay.

For the life of me I couldn’t figure out where they should plug into…

Any help again would be appreciated!

Those are ring terminals, so they won't "plug" into anything. Your looking for two studs that appear to be empty. And they won't be very far away. Within reach of the cable length.

“Plug” was maybe not the correct terminology. Thanks for the correction.

I looked around and didn’t find anything terribly obvious but I’ll keep looking.

In the doghouse pic there are some red terminals behind which is a possibility. Not sure where the ground goes [emoji2369]

Do those reach the starter terminals? They look too short to me. The ground is never going to reach the black cable on the engine.

I thought the heater pump off tje fuel pump relay which is under the doghouse. Check for that location. Basically Hester is on I'd the engine is running.

They seem to be long enough to reach the starter yes.

I thought so too about the relay. I’ll have to follow the cables more closely and cut the zip ties to see ways going on.

Something else that doesn’t work are my underwater leds but not sure these terminals are for those lights.

Luckily the leak is resolved and these small things can be tinkered with here and there and definitely in the winter time.
